Show all from author

I’ve figured out the ?author_name= command to show the authors on a page, but it’s only showing a single post!

My blog is set up to only show a single day at a time so I’m thinking that has to do with it (it shows only today’s author’s post)… How can I override this and make it show.. say… the last 10? And then have a “show the previous ten >>” link next to it?
