Show category posts?

    Im sure this has been posted often but the search feature isnt the greatest.

    This is my idea:
    I want to update the “news” and “shows” section of the site
    http://www.thesexyrobots.net with wordpress.

    I know it involves using “the loop” and “show category posts” but I find myself at a loss as to how to implement it. Help?
