• Why is it that when I manually add a composite product to the order from the backend, the breakdown of the products it’s made up of doesn’t appear?

If the order is created from the checkout, they appear perfectly. If this functionality doesn’t exist, I think it would be good to implement it.

    Thanks.

    Hi @federicoflyhi ,

For your information, there are some issues for backend manual orders that could occur:

    • Depending on the pricing method, either the auto total or the fixed total price will be displayed cause it’s hard to break down the discounts for some cases.
    • It requires stock checking beforee the order could be placed. In some cases, the quantity rules might not be fully satisfied, thus, causing the incorrect total price issue.
    • Some caching or order processing plugins might cause incorrect stock updates so the manual order of composite might not work properly for some case.
    • The invoice processing plugins might also interfere with the breakdown of manual orders as well.

For these reasons, manual orders might not always work as smoothly as orders placed from the normal purchase process with correct stock and pricing updates.

You can carefully check your order again to make sure that all the pricing rules and discounts/quantity requirements are met for the order to be placed/processed properly.

    Best regards.
