I want the gallery to use a justified layout on desktop, but switch to a simple grid on mobile for better readability. Is it possible to define a mobile layout override inside Robo Gallery settings? If not, do you recommend creating two galleries and showing them conditionally via CSS?

Yes, you can control responsive gallery behavior directly in Robo Gallery settings – in most cases, you don’t need to create two separate galleries. If you’re using the Classic Grid, you can manually define the number of columns for different devices, including desktop and mobile. This allows you to make the gallery more compact on larger screens and simpler on smaller screens. If you’re using Fusion Grid, it includes smart responsive modes. You can configure the grid size and layout behavior, and the gallery will automatically adapt for:

    – mobile devices,
    – tablets,
    – desktop screens,
    – and wide monitors.

So the recommended approach is to first configure the built-in responsive/mobile settings rather than creating two separate galleries. Creating two galleries and showing them conditionally with CSS is possible as a workaround, but usually it’s not necessary and may add extra maintenance.
