show event posts

    The new Spiffy Calendar looks good. What I don’t know how to realise:
    (1) how to show the calender posts in the list of regular posts on the homepage; customizer does not find the events or the event category

    (2) how to add the events to my MailPoet weekly (automatically sent) update; here too the category is not to be found in the list of categories I can choose from to include in the newsletter
