Hi @mkb1967,
This is a theme setting, or the used theme is not supporting excerpts.
Can you return me the theme name/download, so I can check it for you.
Regards, Danny
Hi, thanks for responding so quickly! The theme I use is Angle . http://help.oxygenna.com/wordpress/angle/index.html Thanks!
Hi @mkb1967,
Your welcome 😉
This is not a free theme, so i can’t test it …
But i see that they have possibility’s to use grids, which are limited in post length, like here: http://angle.oxygenna.com/blog/masonry-news/
As we both know is this not a plugin issue but a problem with your theme.
There its a purchased theme, can’t you have support by them?

Thanks again, Danny. You are very helpful! You helped me as much as you could, even though it’s not your responsibility, since it was not an issue with your plugin. That’s very nice of you! For that, I will give you a donation. God Bless You!
Thank you very very much!
Regards Danny 😉
Use the tag <!–more–>
An excerpt can be auto generated by a WordPress theme or by using the <!–more–> tag inside the post content. Another way to create excerpts for a WordPress post is by entering the summary of an article in Excerpt field on Post Edit screen.
I know how to generate excerpts, but this is not a part of the plugin.
My other plugin (grid-wud) can create excerpts which are used in the tiles.
If you use the tag <!–more–> inside a post/page it will show you a read more button from that part on, but this is not an excerpt, this is breaking a post/page in 2 parts.
So what i try to say is that a theme supports or not supports create/using excerpts.
If the the does not do this, you will find some plugins which can do this for you.

Hi @mkb1967,
Solved by the new release:
= 2.1.4 =
* Added: Excerpts for pages (on/off), will show/hide archive pages as excerpts and add/remove excerpts field to pages.
* Added: length excerpts for pages, which is the length in words to show on the archive page.
