Show reply button in the widget again

Hi guys,

Thanks for your work in this widget, is very usefull 🙂

I was wondering why do you have dropped out the “reply” links from the widget in the last version? I’ve seen that you do some comments in the source code about “you don’t want the reply option”

But I really think that is a very usefull feature, a lot of “lazy” users doesn’t like to go the “activity” section to reply a comment, I think you can enable the option again and let the webmaster take the decision about show reply link or not 😀

I found this line at template-tags.php line 105

$allow_comment=false;;//for now, avoid commenting

And obviously is not enough with change it to true hehe. The reply link appears but not the reply form 🙂 I guess that some code is missing in the javascript side

Hi Harrym,

I’ve instaled the previous version of the plugin to get the reply button back and seems that works fine with the last version of buddypress, you can download it from here:

http://downloads.wp.xz.cn/plugin/buddypress-sitewide-activity-widget.1.1.3.3.zip

Just disable the plugin, remove the files by FTP, upload the previous version files to the same folder and enable it again.

Remember that if you updated are your plugins you will get the last version again! 🙂
