Show subcategories

    I would like to show subcategories on my category page.
    If possible, I Would like to show them like the post grid list.
    But to have them appear as hyperlinks would already help me 🙂

    Is there an easy way to accomplish this?

    I managed to solve this in an elegant way without having to change any source code.

    I installed Quick Page/Post Redirect Plugin.

    In the parent category I made a post with the name and description of the Subcategory. So this post shows in the post list.

    I now redirect this post to the subcategory page. So now when I click on the post it leads to the subcategories.
