I recently added buddypress to my WordPress site, and I noticed that all members that existed before adding it do not have a toolbar displaying links for “Profile, Forums, Friends, Groups, Settings”

Upon further inspection, I noticed that all of the members settings had the checkbox “Show Toolbar when viewing site” unchecked.

Normally, I would just go to each member and check the box to turn it on, however there are hundreds of members and doing that would take a very long time.

Is there anything that I can add to the child theme’s functions.php to override each user setting and instead just enable it for all logged in members?

I initially posted this question in BuddyPress support and was told it is a WPToolbar question and was instructed to try asking here.

Here is the post from BuddyPress support:

Please let me know if anyone has such snippit for functions.php

    Thank you.
