Show/hide Author name and date without a code!

Hello. I have been through all (almost) forums to find this answer BUT all solutions are around codes! My site is http://www.moneymakewise.com. My posts used to show the date and author name on the top of each post. I DONT remember when that was, but a stage i chose to remove them and i THINK i did that my simply ticking off some boxes in my admin panel, and not by code. I dont remember. Now, Since yesterday that im trying to introduce back the date and author name, i just cant find that choice in my admin area panel. BUT “miraculously”, when i open the website today, the posts DATE is there! I HAVENT introduce any code. so how that happen?
So, my question is: can anyone help me find out IF i ever used any code to remove the author/date from my posts? Second: is there an Admin panel box to tick off/in to make authors name and date appear or not?? If not and only if not, then i would appreciate a code to add them in. I am really busting my head to remember HOW i removed the author name and date the fisrt time….i recall doing it so easy.
