Showing database fields in post

Hi,

I am working on a website where i need to save a lot of data in database (football statistic). Can I use PhpMy Admin for this purpose?

I will also need some plugin so the end user easily adds needed fields (team statistic history) inside of the post. I was thinking to create Advanced Custom Fields dropdown menu where the user would select for example team which he needs to show statistics.

Does anyone has some better idea how to do this?
