    Hi Monalisa,

    I realized there’s an ERROR MESSAGE showing right above the gifs from the rtmedia light after I updated to V5.1 ?

    Notice: Trying to get property ‘ID’ of non-object in /home/wpdp/public_html/wp-content/plugins/wp-monalisa/wpml_comment.php on line 111

    Is there’s a patch or how to fix this issue?

    Hi DramaQueen,

    I tried to repdroduce the “notice” but it seems not to occure in my setup.
    Can you please give PHP Version, WP Version, rtMedia Verision. I used PHP 7.3, rtMedia 4.5.8 and WP 5.2.3.

    Hi Tuxlog,

    I am using the following.
    php version 7.2
    wp version 5.2.3
    rtMedia version 4.5.8

    The error ONLY happens for the rtmedia lightbox area.

    Also for wp comments are fine, no error.
    Oh, I forgot to mention, The ONLY issue is when I post the animation, it doesn’t show on the message sections and also indicated “Waiting for Approval”?! So I ended up NOT using the wp default comments page and left it alone…

    The animation for buddypress stream and bbpress are 100% fine!

    Thanks for the information, can you disable this “approval” thing and test if it works please. Seems to be the only difference between our setups.

    Hi Tuxlog,

    The only approval is from Settings > Discussion. Those 2 are UNCHECKED.

    But the main thing is that ERROR message is what I am looking for fix it LINE 111.

    I used all latest version and just updated to php 7.3. Still NO luck I tried everything. It just freaky only rtmedia happening no where else?! 🙁

    I am still looking to reproduce the problem. Must be something different between our setups, but still no luck to get the “Notice”.
    Let’s try something simple, can you disable Notices in your PHP setup, maybe it’s this easy.

    Hi Tuxlog,

    If you are referring to define(‘WP_DEBUG_DISPLAY’, false) I just did it. The error went away. But this just to hide it. NOT a completed fixed.

    Freaky, it only happens for the rtmedia. But yours is fine?!

    Besides turning off the debug mode, it’s there’s another way or a patch might do the trick?

    So far, so good.
    Yes, it works fine on my sites.
    Maybe you can try modifying line 111 in wpml_comment.php to

    if (is_object($post) && is_array($excludes) && in_array($post->ID,$excludes))

    Can you try this please.

    YAHOO!!! OMG!!! It’s completely GONE!!! So much nicer!!!

    Also, it didn’t affect others neither…

    Not that I”m a developer, but may I ask why it did that ONLY for rtmedia?

    It is just a guess but maybe rtmedia uses some setup where $post is not set.
