Showing selected single posts

Today i found another parameter that we would need on our site. We want to use the shortcode to also create a list with manually chosen posts, so i wonder if it is possible to enhance the functionality with for example something like “post-id=23,45,67” to show these specific selected posts.
What do you think about it?
