Side bar at botom?

Until today, every thing worked fine.
Now our right sidebar shows at the bottom of the page. Even after removing all of the widgets and adding just a search, it still shows at the bottom.
We have tried different themes too – to see if perhaps the sidebar php needed adjusting. Nothing helps.
I would appreciate some ideas.
