Yeah, sidebars can be a little tricky. There are a couple of ways to make it happen though:
- Change the default template. Head to Events > Settings > Display and change the default events and single event template to your existing theme’s default page template. That will include the sidebar on your default page.
- Add a sidebar to the templates. We have a Themer’s Guide that will help you here, but the idea is to override the calendar templates with your own versions and drop a registered sidebar in of your choice.
