• My sidebar has disappeared. I’ve had this problem before, and remedied it be resizing the photos, or adjusting the settings on my browser. That’s not working this time. The sidebar nomally contains the calendar, pages, links, etc.
At the very bottom of the page it shows a couple of archive months. If you click on one of those, then the sidebar displays as it should. I tried changing themes, but that didn’t work either. I’m code illiterate, so any help you can give me needs to be real specific. Hope you can help-
    Thanks

I remember it dissaperead some time ago and after some hours decided to come back but this time, it’s different.

    I use Firefox 1.5.0.6

Hi, My sidebar has relocated itself to the bottom of the posts. I was wondering if somehow it was related to the change to the month of August, since if you scroll down and go to “Previous Posts” it reappears. Changing the theme also has not helped for me. I’ve tried several other themes–same problem. My blog is located at http://www.careyjaneclark.com. I am also code illiterate!

Remove that mile long link from your last post and you should be OK.

OK, I removed my most recent post, then combined it with my next most recent post and it solved the problem.

    Thanks moshu!

    Oops,
I was actually addressing it to cjclark… but if it worked for you, too, the better 🙂

Thank you! It actually wasn’t necessary to remove the link. I was able to do a controlled return in the middle of the link. It can still be clicked on successfully, and it doesn’t disrupt the sidebar. Again, thanks!

Okay, now what did I do wrong? It’s a different kind of disappearing this time, but nonetheless, it looks dumb. I swear the only thing I did was edit the sidebar code. I wanted to change the word “Blogroll” into “Links”. I touched nothing but that word, and I suddenly have no sidebar.
