sidebar for category.php

    in my category.php file i am trying to insert the sidebar <?php get_sidebar(); ?> when i do this the sidebar appears at the bottom of the page and not on the right side is it does on all the other pages.

    i am assuming perhaps there is a div tag that has to be included? but any help would be appreciated

    im noticing on the other pages the get sidebar is at the bottom right on top of the get footer script. the other pages im talkin about are index and archive. i tried repeating that same setup in category.php and im not getting the sidebar in the same position. what am i doing wrong?

    Can we have a link to your page so we can see where you’re placing the code, and how to pages are put together?
