When I add any 1 widget to sidebar, Footer dose not stay at bottom
what do you mean?
even if there’s no sidebar widget setup, there will still be the DEFAULT sidebar widget in sidebar like recent post, archive etc..

let me guess, you only had 1-2 posts..content height is lower than browser height…
i am also facing same issue. see I have one website http://www.geekpills.com.
As per my thinking, i have already removed any sidebar wizard, But still few sidebar which I don’t want.

a. How to increase recent post number
use the wp-admin->widgets to control your own sidebar item
tips: drag one item into right sidebar like search only, if you want to show search in right sidebar only.
recent post can be increase in wp-admin->setting->reading

I have tried that, Not sure few things are not working as expected there.
Like on http://www.geekpills.com, I have tried on this website as you mention above, But no luck.
1. Not able to delete unuse Page and tags tabs
2. Not able to increase number of posts in recent posts tab
3. I can add new recent post tab and increase numbers of post there but not able to delete default tabls
I was trying some random things on same and found. We need to add few new more things, Only then it will override old and default things….
