    hello all

    I have two issues/questions here.
    1. For some reason, my sidebar seems to have disappeared from the homepage only. It appears in every other page. I was wondering what I can possibly look at or double-check?

    2. Is there a way to have a unique sidebar for the homepage only and a different one for all the rest of the pages?

    Thanks! =)
    Ed

  • There are thousands of WordPress themes – which means that many people won’t be familiar with your particular theme. So a link to your site might help.

    1.
did you add any new posts recently?
did you paste directly from ms word? that is known to mess with the design.
some of the content could have unclosed divs for instance.

also, try and run the W3C validator http://validator.w3.org/ – that can give you more hints about invalid code which might lead to disappearing sidebars.

if you can post a link to your site, someone could have a look at it.

    2. yes, you can have a unique sidebar:

thanks for your help, guys. I found that there were some spacing issues that was pushing the sidebar out and since the overflow was set at hidden, I could not see it.

also, thanks alchymyth for the tip on the unique sidebar, I was able to get it to work. thanks!
