I have just installed Lifter LMS on my site which is running Genesis

I am using the Smart Passive Income theme

I started to create my first course and the installation has affected my sidebar.

Content that is at the bottom is being wrapped to the sidebar

    Example here – http://www.rogerperkin.co.uk/course/ansible-for-beginners/

The Author box is appearing in the sidebar

If I remove the author box then comments start to show in the sidebar.

I would really like to keep my theme but also open to building another site with a different Genesis Theme

    Regards,
    Roger

Ok so I have completely removed lifter lms from my theme and re-installed on a clean wordpress with the same them and the sidebars work perfectly?

So I am going to continue to use that, however my main site still has sidebars down the bottom of the page?

Need to fix that now – not sure what lifter lms did to the sidebars

    @rnperki,

Sorry this isn’t working perfectly… Trying to make LifterLMS function perfectly with all the thousands of themes out there is a difficult task.

    1) I don’t actually see any issues with the standard sidebars on the site you linked to above

    2) I assume we’re trying to get LifterLMS Sidebars to work on your courses / lessons.

We have a tutorial on getting sidebars to work for themes that don’t support our sidebars, you can read up on how to get sidebars working at https://lifterlms.com/docs/how-to-make-lifterlms-sidebars-work-on-just-about-any-theme/

Your sidebar ID *might* be “genesis-sidebar-primary” but I am not positive about that. The video shows you how to locate it.

After that it’s just a few lines of code to get your current theme functional.

Let me know if I can help more here,
