I have to admit that I’m pretty much in the dark here.
Out of desperation, I validated the HTML:
http://validator.w3.org/check?verbose=1&uri=http%3A%2F%2Flowcarbonfactsandfigures.eu%2F
The HTML has very real problems. I can only imagine that by the time you get to the link tags in question, the browser is no longer able to parse the HTML correctly. Maybe somebody else can come up with a more convincing explanation…
Sorry I can’t be of more help.
Cheers

Thanks for the help – I’ve gone through and validated the site, but the links to other pages on the menu in the sidebar are still not working. Any help?

Many thanks,

I have some good news and some bad news.
The good news is that I know which file is causing the problem. The bad news is that it’s style.css and I don’t know, yet, what in that stylesheet is causing the problem.
I can explain to you how I found that out if you want. Just ask.
To make things easier and rather than searching through all the styles, is it possible for you to unwind all the changes you made, one-by-one until the page starts working again?
Ideally you’ll tell me that all your changes are in a child theme and you can just roll back to the standard style sheet.
Cheers
