• After updating wp and kale, the sidebar that was next to every post is now showing at the bottom of the post instead of at the side.

I tried to uninstall Kale and install again, nothing worked.

Seems like there 2 extra </div> tags that shouldn’t be there, that cause the sidebar to be outside the 2 rows layout.

Anyone encountered this problem? (I’m using the free version)

  • Hi @mylittlekitchen,

Thanks for getting in touch, and thank you for using Kale- we really appreciate it!

Very sorry about the trouble- we’ll do some investigating and will release an update to address this if it’s due to a bug in the theme.

Thanks so much for the heads up!

I’m also experiencing this issue. The sidebar is pushed to the bottom of the page only on blog post pages (the front page and regular non-blog article pages work fine) when logged in to WordPress. When not logged in, the sidebar is displayed correctly on the side of the blog post.

    Hi @laurakokkarinen,

Thank you so much for sharing this- these additional details are so helpful and I believe we should be able to get this tracked down and resolved shortly with this tip.

Thanks again for chiming in here!

I am also experiencing this exact issue on my staging site.

After updating the Kale theme and WordPress, the right sidebar has been pushed to the bottom of the page, but strictly on single blog post pages. The main page and regular pages display the layout perfectly.

    Thanks, @klaudi23a!

Does it seem to display normally on your site when you’re not logged in (i.e., in a private tab)? If so, I believe we’ve tracked down the issue here and should have an update released to address it pronto.
