Sidebar not showing! Please help

This is my 3rd theme (currently using Sueva). In all of the themes, including Twenty Thirteen, I have been unable to get the sidebar to appear on my Home page and posts simultaneously.
My workaround to get the widgets on my Homepage was to place everything in my Category sidebar, but now I have no widgets on my posts. I CAN get the sidebar to show on my posts, but then they are not on my Homepage.

I’ve been trying to fix this for weeks and am so frustrated (I’m not a developer)! I’ve tried different widgets like Dynamic widgets, but they are useless. The settings say the sidebar in enabled, but it doesn’t show. It’s also enabled in the Theme options.
