Sidebar Not Updating Widgets

    Hi,

    I have been editing with the ‘Bare Responsive’ framework, and cannot get the sidebars to update on the front end my site when I add new widgets in the dashboard > appearance. I am fairly handy with CSS, but not so much with php and cannot see where the error may be. The functions.php file has a bunch of default widgets I can remove, but cannot replace them. Any help would be greatly recieved.

    Do you have any caching on your site? Have you tried deactivating all plugins to see if they are causing problems? Where did you download this theme from? Have you asked the developers of the theme?

    I have cache disabled on Firefox, the theme was downloaded from hongkiat.com, and I they no direct contact to the original developer on there (other than Twitter). I have deactivated all the plugins but still no joy. I think it may be an issues with the sidebar.php not calling in the function, but really can’t see the issue.

    Unfortunately, these forums only support themes from here:

    http://ww.wp.xz.cn/themes/

    So if it’s with the theme, you might want to consider finding one that’s better supported?
