  • The free version has a sidebar widget. The widget is not the same as the full calendar. It provides a limited view of events, rather than the complete calendar.

You can also embed the calendar using shortcodes, so it’s possible to embed a specific view using a text widget and the shortcode. That said, you may need to modify the style of the view in that text widget using CSS, as most of the views expect a reasonable width for the view.

Thanks so much for the help! I thought it had a widget when I first installed it, but it seems to have vanished with an update as it no longer appears in my widget section. Thoughts?

I did try using shortcode, but the list of events was a mile long 🙂 I’m not sure how to adjust that.

    Hi LMJdurango,

If you use a shortcode, you can limit number of events per page: [ai1ec events_limit=”5″]
