Sidebar Widget Cuts off Left Side Text

I’m using a Canvas child theme. When the widget is installed in the footer, it looks fine. Same settings on the sidebar and the text is cut off on the left side. It’s like half of the first letter all the way down the left side. Please advise. Thanks!
