sidebar widget stopped working

After the most recent wordpress update or a mp3j update (not sure of the timing of which update crashed plugin), the side bar widget stopped working when used in the weaver II theme. I had it set to create a playlist from a folder with mp3’s. When I opened the widget the plugin appeared to work and said it found “x” number of files. However, on page load I would get an error saying it was unable to locate files. I went back to the developer version to restore playback.
