Headings in sidebar should be used per case basis (usually low enough to not interfere with the content inserted headings) or sometimes not used at all.

In case of the Suki theme, sidebar headings are all H2. Since H2 is heavily used in the content this should be lowered to at least <H5>.

Btw. nice, clean and fast theme. Keep up the good work.

Hi Zeljko,

It’s a brilliant idea to have an option to choose level of headings on sidebar. It would make it more SEO friendly.

We will forward this idea to our development team, and see if this feature could be added on the next release.

Few updates passed headings in sidebar are still H2. You don’t need to allow custom level headings just lower the sidebar headings to H4 or H5 instead of H2.

Hi,

As mentioned in https://codex.ww.wp.xz.cn/Designing_Headings, using <h2> tag as the widget title is normal.

But, if you want to really change it to something other than <h2>, please try this tutorial: https://docs.sukiwp.com/article/tips/changing-widget-titles-heading-level/.
