Signup Form Issue

    Hi,

    Let me start by saying that Participants Database is awesome, loving the functionality.

    I am having one problem, my website is password protected and we are using it to keep a record of babies in our orphanage. I’m using the signup form to add new entries into the database and it seems after I installed the Field Group Tab plugin, I now see the “Record ID” and “Private ID” fields on the signup page. It wasn’t like this prior to installing the plugin. Is it possible the plugin is causing this or am I missing something? They aren’t selected in the “Manage Database Fields” signup checkboxes.

    I should add that I am using your code for the “Edit Record Link” in my frontend lists.

    I’ve done a bit more digging but still non the wiser. If I enable tabs on the signup form it shows the Record ID and Private ID are coming from the Record Information field group (as expected) but there is no way I can see in there to have them show up or not in the signup form.

    Go to the Manage Database Fields page, under the “field group” tab, make sure the “Record Info” group has “admin” checked. That prevents all fields in the group from getting shown on the frontend.

    Thanks for your response. I must have done something else wrong as I couldn’t resolve the issue (I’m not sure what) so I did a fresh install as I was only at the start of developing it.

    No, the issue is resolved. Thanks for your help.

    I think something went wrong with the entire WP database because even if I deleted the Participants plugin, the old data would return. There was no caching on the server so I did a full WorPpress reinstall.
