Simple 301 Causing Menu Problems After WP Core Update

    After the latest WordPress core update, we are experiencing a bizarre error on one of our sites.

    When trying to add a new menu item to our primary menu, the entire homepage of the site will instead be loaded over the Admin page it looks as as if the home page’s content is in an iframe of sorts, with all the content being loaded from it at the buttom of the menu itself – and the menu can’t be edited or saved at that point. I’ve never seen this issue before. Deactivating the Simple 301 Redirects plugin resolves the issue and I’ve tested to ensure this plugin is the only one causing it.

    This error is occurring in Chrome 67.0.3396.99 (Official Build) (64-bit) and Firefox 61.0.1 (64-bit). Simple 301 redirects version 1.07, WordPress Version: 4.9.8

    Are you aware of this issue and can you provide any insight?

    Yep, simple redirects is causing Ajax issues all acrossed WordPress websites for my clients right now. I am having issues with menus, plug-in updates, Etc. Once I deactivate simple 301 redirects the problems go away.

    Unfortunately it also affects clients uploading images and setting featured images which is currently broken as well.
