I’m hoping this is an easy fix. I have two simple Calculation Fields in a Caldera Form that add up total bottles in one and total cases in another. Each Calculation Field totals the two fields above it. Bottles are a drop-down field with numerical values only. Cases are a single line field with a numerical mask. Both Calculation Fields worked at one point, and now do not; I even rebuilt the form from scratch again to no avail. However, in Firefox Developer console I see an error noting “too much recursion” in jquery.js:2:24627. In one online post someone noted that might be due to bootstrap conflict? I am not a developer, just a proficient beginner, and this is now over my head; I’m not sure the jquery error is even related to the form not calculating. Any advice would be welcome. The form is at:

Thanks in advance to any good Samaritans out there.

    Hi Paul,

Thanks for using Caldera Forms. Just so you know, we check this board very sporadically since we do not offer free support for Caldera Forms. The most effective way to get support for Caldera Forms is to open a support ticket at https://CalderaWP.com/support. Through that form, someone from our team will follow up about this issue within 1 business day.

Please note that to use our support form, you must have an active license for any Caldera Forms add-on (https://calderawp.com/caldera-forms-add-ons/) or a support license (https://calderawp.com/support/#priority-support). Thank you for understanding that this is essential to ensuring that we are able to continue to develop and support great products for you.

Thank you, christiechirinos, for responding back to me. I really do appreciate the need for businesses like yours to earn an income. I did look at the two options for support and, frankly, they are too expensive for my (very small) client who is in start-up mode; I wish you had a single ticket price for just such issues.

It is just so frustrating to have had it work once, and then stop. I now do not believe that the template is interfering with the form function, as I have tested a number of different themes to no avail.

Again, I do appreciate you responding. It looks like Caldera Forms is a fabulous plug-in – when it works correctly. I’ll fiddle some more before moving on.
