    I’m making a quick contact form with WPForms Lite. For better replies, do you suggest keeping phone number as optional, or is it better to ask only for name, email, and message?

    For most contact forms, it’s generally best to keep things simple and only ask for name, email, and message. This helps keep the form quick and easy to complete, which usually leads to more submissions.

    If you’d like to include a phone number, I’d recommend keeping it optional. That way, users who are comfortable sharing it can do so, while others can still submit the form without any friction.

    Keeping the form short and flexible is usually the best approach for better response rates.
