Simple Giveaways & Google Analytics Germanized

    Hi Igor

    As I’m running a German blog I’m using – like many other German bloggers probably – the GDPR plugin Google Analytics Germanized.

    Unfortunately Simple Giveaways doesn’t make use of the plugin, probably because your plugin uses own hooks instead of WP standard hooks like wp_head and wp_footer.

    For keeping consistence over my entire site and maintenance as low as possible,I wouldn’t like to integrate a custom solution for making giveaways GDPR-complaint.

    Therefore, do you see any chance in making these plugins working together?

    Hi,

    the regular giveaway template is not using the mentioned hooks so the giveaway page does not include all registered styles and scripts we dont need.

    But if you try to use the option for including header and footer of your site, it should work.

    I will see if I can integrate it. But it will have to wait for a few days while I am travelling. Should be home by saturday/sunday.
