Simple Job Posting and Online Application Method

I have a client heavily invested in WordPress. They would like to have a simple job listing with online application on their internet site. I’ve searched and come up null on any pre-configured plugins. So I was thinking might be able to achieve this with:

* Create a custom template the list all items from job category.
* Use cforms II plugin to create one generic online application.
* Have HR post job information with apply link to form

Would this work? Are there simpler methods?
