Simple Share Twitter count doesn’t display

    My Twitter share count is displaying as “0” instead of the correct number. THe other social media accounts (FB, Google+, etc.) are displaying the proper counts.

    How do I fix this?

    The only solution I found was to sign up with a 3rd party service to keep track of the share counts: https://www.sharedcount.com – they have a free account with up to 10,000 shares per day. After you set it up and get a SharedCount API Key, configure Simple share to use it (Share button settings > counters). However if you have more than 10,000 shares per day (over your entire site) you’ll have to go with the paid account which starts at $40 per month.
