Simple Sign
-
I created a simple sign in plugin that I’ve been using with all my sites. I thought I’d share with everyone, but wordpress gatekeepers feel that it just reinvents the wheel… aka wp_login().
It’s up for download at sign-in.960design.com. Pretty much, just upload to wordpress, then activate. To sign in just login to http://www.example.com/sign-in/ (with permalinks set to post-type).
If you are using the default menu, it will automatically populate it with a sign-in nav. Deactivating & deleting the plugin removes ALL of it.
The goal was to create something that a complete wordpress noob could get up and have a nice front-end access point without the crazy redirects that wp_login() creates, plus the styling is already set. Just activate and off you go.
Let me know if it causes any problems for you.
