Is it that I need to edit the Stylesheet?

You could do, all just edit the actual mark-up of the single-event page.

By default it uses the single.php template in your theme, but if you have a single-event.php template it uses that instead: http://wp-event-organiser.com/documentation/editing-the-templates/

Thanks Stephen, I’ve set up a single-event.php template in my theme – is there a reason why it’s not going full width?

That will depend on the mark-up and your theme’s style.css. If pages are full-width, then you can might want to compare the mark-up of page.php with your single-event.php

Thanks Stephen, I’m getting closer on the design.

Do you know how I would change the word ‘venue’ to be ‘location’ on:
    http://pathfinderbuzz.com/events/

I’ve managed to do it on the single event page by editing event-meta-event-single.php and hoped it would change on the events listing. I’ve looked at the shortcode but a bit stuck as what needs to be edited.

    Any help much appreciated, thanks
