Single Image Gallery

When you use the gallery function simply as a box (1 row, 1 column, 1 image) the plugin still shows the previous/next arrows with the image. Is there a way to switch the arrows off? If not, could you possibly include an automatic switch-off of the arrows in single pic galleries in a future update?
