Single Page Scrolling Menu

I’m trying to create a single page site with a menu that allows visitors to quickly jump up and down the site to whatever section they please.

I understand how to use inline anchors and setting the custom menu url to #section1.

I’ve got them to work for blocks set up with custom text widgets; however, I’m having difficulty setting inline anchors in the existing widgets even when I use the text-editor to place them.

The two widgets I’m using are the Latest Posts and Block Quote widgets (they don’t allow tags to be placed in the header or body).

Any ideas?
