Single Posts – not working

    Hi,

    I’m running latest Dynamic Widgets version 1.5.8, on Genesis theme, if it’s of any significance.

    I’m trying to restrict the showing of a widget on specific posts by category, by selecting those categories in the exception box on the SINGLE POSTS section.

    The problem is, after settings are saved, they are actually not saved. Whatever I check on SINGLE POSTS exceptions is gone immediately. The only thing that changes is that those categories are now checked on CATEGORY PAGES section, but this does not have the desired effect – widget is still showed on all single posts, it is only blocked on category pages.

    I tried using the OLD method but result is the same, settings are still not saved.

    So to sum it up, “Show widget default on single posts?” is working, but setting up exceptions by category cannot be saved.

    I’m not sure if I’m doing anything wrong.

    Yes, this is a known bug and fixed in the latest development version.

    Hello,
    I also have the same problem.
    I admit you have built a function/ feature that should be in the core of wordpress platform.
    We are all looking forward for the release of latest version that has the fix 🙂

    A new release will come soon. I’m currently traveling. When I’m back it will be released shortly after.
