Single Record Link Text Not Working

    I’m having trouble getting a “View Details” text to show in my list view. I’ve tried everything in the documentation and it just will not work. When I look at my list view all that displays is the full URL to the single record. Here is what I’ve done.

    1) Add a new text-line field in “manage database fields”. title is blank, name is “View_Details”. Default value is set to “placeholder::View Details”. I’ve tried simple “View Details”.

    2) Field is input into column in Manage List Columns.

    3) Single Record Field Link is set to my placeholder in the in List Display Settings.

    All that displays in the column is the full individual record URL not “View Details”.

    Can someone help please?

    The “form element” of your placeholder field should be “placeholder” (not text-line) then you put whatever you want the clickable text to be into the “default” setting for the field.
