Site broken

I have a website in Romanian. After installing the plugin and adding English as a new language my home page is all of a sudden pointing to http://example.ro/en/ … and there are no posts on the home page. I don’t want that!

I uninstalled, but the redirect is still there. How can I fix this???

Maybe plugins shouldn’t change website settings without a confirmation from the admin.
