site broken after adding menus
-
Dear forum Members,
I have an entirely menu-less page at https://lueckenraum.at, which worked fine so far. It has some additional pages, which are not reached via the menu but via regular hyperlinks on the front page (for example: https://lueckenraum.at/ausstellungsdokumentation-lentos-kunstmuseum-auswahl/)
While testing, I added a menu structure and then removed it again. Now, the front page (https://lueckenraum.at) still works fine, but the display of sub pages (e.g. https://lueckenraum.at/ausstellungsdokumentation-lentos-kunstmuseum-auswahl/) is broken, not sure what I did wrong. When I edit a sub-page in the backend, it looks normal. What did I do?
The page I need help with: [log in to see the link]

PS: I already tried switching to a different theme, but this didn’t help…

It seems like removing the menu might have affected your theme’s template structure or custom CSS. Check if the sub-pages are still using the correct page template and ensure that no custom styles or settings were overridden when the menu was removed.
Also you can check the caching if you are using any caching plugins.Make sure the page tempalte is not changed after adding the menu. Also, you can check your header area menu structure (how it was added or make dynamic the menu ). It require deep investigation with your theme code. It best to get help from the Developer who create the theme.

Thanks for your tips! It seems that the Polylang Pro plugin was the culprit. After de- and reactivating it, the site works fine again…
