We have a website with MySQL 8.0.31 database, after trying to migrate the website, it showed this error: The current database engine is [MariaDB 10.3.38] while the host database engine was [MySQL 8.0.31]. I searched for the compatibility issues and it says that it shouldnt have any in general. I migrated it and it didn’t show any errros but all the site is completly broken. Everytime I refresh the site breaks in a diferent way, sometimes it doesn’t find media, sometimes it doesn’t find css (even in the admin page), sometimes it just doesnt find the urls and it returns 404 error, but when i refresh maybe two times tit does find the page, sometimes it shows the default hosting page, even though I deleted the file before migrating the website. I have disabled the cache plugins, i have asked the hosting to delete the server cache, I tried to migrate the website again to check if I did something wrong but it breaks in the same way. What should i do now? Try to go into the database to see whats broken or missing? I tried also to run the scan validator but it just keeps loading forever. Thanks in advance.

The page I need help with: [log in to see the link]

    Hi @emmasaa ,

Thanks for reaching out to Duplicator support!

Actually, this issue is a bit weird, and we didn’t encounter a similar issue before.

When I tried to visit your website, it redirected me to https://bpm-hotels.com/wp-admin/setup-config.php, and of course, if I clicked the button, the website will start the installation process which shouldn’t happen after the migration.

So, first, please correct the database connection parameters in your wp-config.php file in order to make the website work, and to let me check the website.

I’m looking forward to your reply.

    Thanks!

    Hello @mohammedeisa

A few hours after creating this threadI realized the problem was with the hosting. It couldn’t come from us. I tried to install a clean wordpress site in the root and the same issues showed up, so I figured it must be from the hosting. Already called and they are fixing it up atm. Honestly it still seems a weird error if it comes from the hosting. Thanks for the response and sorry for the fuss!
