    Hi there!

Thank you for sharing the error. This indicates that the Square plugin is trying to load a missing or corrupted file.

Please make sure your WooCommerce is updated to the latest version, then try reinstalling the Square plugin with a fresh copy from here:
    https://ww.wp.xz.cn/plugins/woocommerce-square/

Before installing, please delete the old plugin, then clear your site cache, and install it again to check if the issue persists.

If that does not work, I’d like to understand your site setup properly. Please share the following so we can investigate further:

System Status Report (WooCommerce → Status)
Fatal error logs (WooCommerce → Status → Logs)

You can upload them using https://pastebin.com/ or https://gist.github.com/ and share the link in your reply.

Once we have this information, we’ll be able to assist you further.

    Hi @rewoodhouse,

Since we haven’t heard back in a while, I’ll mark this as resolved for now. If you need any further help, we’re just a message away.

Apart from this, we’d appreciate your feedback if you have a moment: https://ww.wp.xz.cn/support/plugin/woocommerce-square/reviews/#new-post

I tried to enable opcache.save_comments since I know that plugin requires it. That did it for me.

Thanks for the update @anorthwood1. That’s a great catch!

Enabling opcache.save_comments can indeed resolve issues where plugins rely on PHP comments for class loading or annotations. Appreciate you sharing what worked. It helps the whole community!

@rewoodhouse if it’s not much of a hassle, could you give it a shot and see if that helps?

If you need anything else, do not hesitate to reach out.
