Site crashing (timeout)

    Hi!

    I’m having a very annoying issue.

    Randomly, sometimes after hours of use, sometimes after a minute of backend use, my site crashes (sometimes only for me, sometimes for everyone) and gives connection timed out error.

    I don’t think it’s the theme or the plugins causing it. I changed the theme recently and tried disabling most plugins.

    Any ideas?

    It may be that the server on which your site is hosted is periodically overloaded, not by your site but by one that it shares the host with. Also, I see that your site sends this header “X-Powered-By: PHP/5.4.45”. PHP 5.4 is way, way out of date. Check with your host to see if they can get you on 5.6 (at the very least) or 7.X. PHP 7 will make your site run faster.

    For both issues, check with your host.
