Site description doesn’t change

Hello,
This is a bilingual site, the problem is in Hebrew.
I have changed the site description (tagline) in the Customizer, and it is correct.
But in the header, it shows the old one. So does the Settings, General tab. And I cannot change it there – doesn’t retain the change after save.
Where I am going wrong?

Hi @beitsiach ,

I don’t think that this is something Astra theme related. It seems like you need to update your Hebrew site description manually. Here is the discussion thread which might help: https://wpml.org/forums/topic/title-tag-meta-description-translation/

The link you sent me – I went there already and it is talking about PAGE title and tag.
I am talking about SITE title and description.

Deepak,
Yes, WPML just yesterday found it.
For anyone having the same issue – maybe this will help.
Press elements plugin interfered with the change. It was deactivated, the Site description was changed in the settings, and then the plugin was activated again. Now working.

Hey @alamin01,

You can use third-party plugins like Yoast SEO for this. They provide the option to change Facebook titles and descriptions. These options are available in every post meta settings.
