Hi,
the recipes on your homepage don’t seem to load. There is an HTTP error 500 visible in the browsers Javascript console. The 500 error is a generic error which doesn’t provide much information about what is causing the issue exactly. It’s likely the issue is caused by a different plugin and not by Really Simple SSL.
Can you try to enable debugging in WordPress by adding the following to your wp-config.php file:
define('WP_DEBUG', true);
define('WP_DEBUG_LOG', true);
This will write any PHP related errors to a debug.log file in your /wp-content/ directory. If you can provide me with the errors in that file I might be able to give you more information about the issue.
Hi Mark,
Thanks for your reply. I have added to debug lines to the config file. Also, I did the routine of deactivating all the plugins and then activating them all one by one. The site gets disfigured only when I activate the Really Simple SSL plugin.
Thanks for your help.
Best,
Sumit

Hi Sumit,
there seems to be a critical error in your Pinterest widget. In the <div> penci-pinterest-widget-container, the following error shows: There has been a critical error on your website. Do you see a more detailed error in the debug.log file? Could you try if disabling your Pinterest widget plugin resolves the issue?
Mark
Hi Mark,
I think the critical error was displayed since I was updating the theme. Can you check now, please? Thanks,
Sumit

The fatal error is still there. Could you post the contents of the debug.log file in the /wp-content/ folder?
The debug.log file does not exist in the /wp-content/ folder. Any other way?
Hi Mark,
I disabled the Pinterest widget and the site is back to normal. Thanks a ton for all your help. Have a great day.
Best,
Sumit
