Site doesn't always display.

    I was editing my homepage and once I finished, my site reverted back to the basic install, like I had just installed wordpress. Once in awhile I can get it to load correct (in firefox, don’t ask me why that matters), but most often it goes to basic freshly installed wordpress page!

    I just want my page to display with all my work, not this new install. I’m confused, it just happened for seemingly no reason.

    Is your issue with WP MULTISITE– where multiple WP sites share the WP core files, plugins & themes– or a single (regular) install of WP?

    Sounds like a single site that won’t save page/post edits. First step would be to rule out plugin or theme conflicts.

    Try deactivating all plugins. If that resolves the issue, reactivate each one individually until you find the cause.

    If that does not resolve the issue, try switching to the default theme for your version of WordPress to rule-out a theme-specific issue (theme functions can interfere like plugins).
