site down

I am getting the following when signing into the back end of my WP site

The requested URL /wp-login.php was not found on this server.

Apache/2.2 Server at http://www.elearnhub.org Port 80

and when i access the front end

Site Offline

these appeared after updating 4 plugins – i have deleted the plugins using ftp. but no joy. i looked but could find no maintenance file in php. thanx
